Canine Care/Training

Dakota Canine Management

Dakota Lloyd grew up in the pet industry.  As a school boy he was learning about animal nutrition and products and loved being in the family Pet Store.  Later as the business expanded into dog boarding and training, Dakota began to learn about animal behavior, training and physiology.  For several years Dakota used his knowledge as a Pet Food Sales Rep for VeRus Pet Foods in Baltimore, helping teach others about proper dog nutrition and what proteins and building blocks were essential for optimal health.  In the last year Dakota decided to return to his roots and use his knowledge of dog training to help the Dog Training Program at Tails of Valor.  It is Dakotas responsibility to know everything about our kennel and to ensure that each dog is equipped with the skills needed to assist their veteran.  We appreciate Dakota's passion and respect for the animals and are very proud of the Service Dogs he is placing in the hands of our Veterans.  Dakota has his first aid and CPR canine certification from the Red Cross and will be finishing further professional training certifications by Summer 2022.
