Robert graduated from high school in Wilton Conn, in 1967 and received aviation training from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Daytona Beach Fla. His education also included Northrop Institute of Technology in Inglewood, Calif. & Army Flight Schools in Texas & Alabama. He served during the Vietnam War from 69’-70’ as a helicopter pilot, Aircraft Commander & Chief Warrant Officer in the Army. Robert’s service awarded him twice the distinguished Flying Cross, a Bronze Star, and 25 air medals.

Robert “Capt. Bob”, made Kutztown Pa his home in later years and, was a senior helicopter pilot for University MedEvac & Keystone Helicopters for 27 years. A proud member of the Lehigh Valley Hospital family and team winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award. On January 25, 2007 Robert lost his battle with cancer but lives on in the saved trauma patients for years to come.
